EID Holidays at Sifawy Boutique Hotel

Looking for a cool getaway just at a fair distance of less than an hour from Muscat? Look no further than Sifawy Boutique Hotel located at the gorgeous spot Jebel Sifah. This spot has proven to be a jewel in the middle of the summer heat in the desserts. And adding to that, just the adventure of the drive through mountainous terrain passing through Bandhar Khairan is really worth the trip for those who have adventure-hungry souls like me :) 

This EID holidays this getaway bug and a friend got so lucky with an unplanned stay at a 5 star Sifawy Boutique Hotel. What a basically planned beach trip turned into an overnight stay in an upgraded room. Thanks to some connections of friends who we happened to meet at the beach side and would eventually give us a great discount in the middle of a fully booked hotel at the height of holidays' time. What got so luckier even is the pool party with a live band performing during the night and performed classic English ballads! What an awesome treat.

The entrance is just as welcoming as the whole resort. Arriving during the middle of the day gave us a refreshing view of the surrounding mountains as well. To start the day we spent time basking in the seaside, from what seemed to be remaining sunlight of the day. It was well so... relaxing, if the word is enough to describe it.

Since Fish Biryani has become the love of my life, I never fail to bring one in every getaway; and won't forget as well the litters and litters of water in a cooler always stuffed at the back of the car. The summer heat is reason enough to crave for the "heavenly" water in this part of the globe. Don't mind what other's think; just keep hydrated!

Facilities were intricately laid out with a mix of European style and the local Omani culture. This shot amazes, with open waters at the other side of the entrance.

The pool party was exactly what it was expected to be. Good live music and fine crowd. I'm not in my 20's, but it feels fine to be around 20 something and early 30 something people enjoying life like they don't have any care in the world. And that made me feel such as well. Yikes.

Waking up to this view is just perfect for a morning introspection (if that ever makes sense to you). Towards the day, I was trying to reach the jet-ski guy to try it under the scorching sun nevertheless I was assuming it was fully booked during the day since it was a holiday since I got no reply :/

Breakfast buffet was fine with friendly servers and waiters. Restaurant was crowded though, but all went so smoothly and people were so fine and yes, smiling. And thanks God, there was no attention-craving crowd. Food choices were superb from continental breakfast choices along with choices of fresh fruits, salads and breads.

Pool never says no so here I was with my amazing e-books collection stuffed in my tab which I carry wherever I go. A sucker for information and ideas, here I was alone reading a book which I won't be disclosing the title here :p

I am sure I stayed all day by the pool till the bartender gets tired of getting me drinks and charging my gadgets every now and then. It was a cool getaway indeed of which I wouldn't complain of even a slightest thing. Thanks to the friendly and professional staff of the resort, and for sure we're coming back.
