Weekend is always a favorite part of the week. A time to refresh out of the busy work and school schedule, daily chores and routine. A time to relax and just do nothing or doing the things you love that doesn't cost you much money, though. All in all weekend is somehow most awaited part of the week at least for me as a hands-on and working mom at the same time. Most of my friends will ask me, how in the world am I doing it. And I would usually say, I don't know, I just do it, daily, from the time I wake up and sleep again with so much little time in between for myself. Sometimes I get crazy, but most of the time, well, I am good. I just so love the weekend, because it's the only time of the week I feel rich maybe because I don't have bottleneck responsibilities or maybe because I get to see new places every time.

I love staying in hotel/resort maybe because of the services available from breakfast, to room delivery and cleaning. I like going around every hotel and resort here in Muscat every weekend. That way I will have all the time in the world doing what I love, reading, etc. and the kids can get to swimming at the same time until they get tired of it ;) But huh, they never get enough of it.

Pioneer hotel is not much of my choice this time, but just a recommendation of a lady friend so we've tried it. Well it didn't disappoint given the first class facilities. Kids enjoyed swimming in the pool which they own during the day. One of the criteria of a place which I find appealing is it has to be not crowded. I love the idea of being us only in the place, since it is not an open area. I do not mind being in crowd if a place is an open space.

The pool is well-maintained and clean; and has a good space to move around.

One of the thing I'm happy about going to resort is that Joshua and Lawrence didn't need to go to swimming lesson, as I was the one who taught them how to swim!

It was a day well-spent of a happy mom and happy kids :)

I've listed here some few things to do during your weekend:

1) Go to somewhere you never gone before

2) Spend time with people most important to you.

3) Read your favorite book.

4) Write that book you've been writing for a year now but never find the time to finish it!

5) Cook a delicious meal.

6) Clean the house, arrange closets etc.

7) Do some evaluations about your plans.

8) Explore, dream and do something about it :)

'Till next!!!
