Making payment online has become a norm nowadays with all the services and products that are made available to be paid online. Paypal is one of the fastest and safest way to make or receive payment online nowadays. Paypal can also be used to send money to someone who has banking account. And setting-up a Paypal account has never been easy and you're right, free of charge.

Now, what do we need to open up a Paypal account? They're as simple as an email address, a password and a debit or credit card to be used for payment or receiving payment. Follow my tutorial below.

Below is a step by step process on how to set up a Paypal account:

1) Go to www.paypal.comFrom your desktop browser it will look like this. And click "Sign up Now" button.

And this is how it looks like if you access the site in your mobile browser. These screenshots are accessed through IPhone. Just click the "Sign up for Free" button and follow the filling up process.

2) Depending on your purpose for creating Paypal account, you may select Personal Account or Business Account. But for most of you, I am guessing it is for shopping online, so go ahead and select "Personal Account" and click Continue button below.

3) Provide your email address and password.
Paypal.com will use this email to communicate with you regarding anything about your account. Confirm your password and click Continue button.

4) Fill up the form with your legal name, address and mobile number. Tick the box o agree with the user's agreement and policy; and click Continue.

5) Add details of your debit or credit card. Don't worry details of your card will not be shown to any third party. Paypal protects privacy of the users.

After adding your payment card details, you can now use your Paypal account in making payments online.
